113th Precinct Community CouncilAbout UsWe are a concerned group of residents who are a liaison between the police and the community. We meet the third Monday of each month in 2007;
We urge all civic and community based organizations to come out
to our meetings.We are looking to form a youth council but we need the youth
to come out and attend our meetings.

The 113 Precinct Community Council is having their annual
Christmas party for children at Thomasina's on Monday, December 18, 2006. @
6:00PM- 9:00PM. All children of the 113th community are invited.
Operation Safe Southeast Queens
In an effort to provide this community with
options when reporting criminal activity, Senator Malcolm Smith along with the
103rd, 105th & 113th Precincts & Community Councils, Community Boards
12 & 13 & Block/Civic Associations have formed a task force
"Operation Safe Southeast Queens" "We are going to tell".
The citizens are given the phone numbers of 4
elected officials: Congressman Meeks (718-949-5600) Senator Malcolm Smith
(718-291-9097) Assemblywoman Vivian Cook (718-322-3975) Councilmember Leroy
Comrie (718-776-3700)
We are aiming to close some of the "hot
spots" in and around the area, in light of the recent shootings/murders
we are encouraging callers to get as MUCH information as safely possible and
if they are uncomfortable in calling the police, please call the above elected
Officials. This is for illegal activities and should there be an
emergency 911 is still to be used.

I am the Vice President for the Citizens Police
Alumni Association. We are looking for all graduates of the Citizens Academy
to join and attend the Alumni Association meetings. They are held on the
fourth Monday of each month at One Police Plaza at 6:30 P.M.
Transportation is provided by your precinct to the
Queens Borough South (107th) or you must be at the 107th by 5:30 PM for
transportation

Any community resident who has not taken the 14
week course should contact their community affairs officer for enrollment.
