PROTECTING NEW YORKERS AT THE PUMP
With high gasoline prices, DCA is urging consumers to shop around for the
best price.
DCA checks every gas station in New York City to make sure drivers are
getting what they pay for and to prevent damage to their cars. DCA
inspectors check that each gas pump registers accurately, prices are
posted, octane levels are what they say, and no excessive water or MTBE is
in the tank. Any pump found in violation is condemned immediately.

MAKE SURE AMUSEMENT RIDES ARE LICENSED AND SAFE
Summer in the City means carnivals, street fairs, block parties, and fun.
But the fun can deflate as fast as your favorite inflatable ride if it’s
not licensed and safe. Licensing is easy and ensures each ride has been
checked and insured.
License applications can be found here: permanent
rides; portable
and inflatable rides; temporary
rides
